About the Editor Prof. M. Afzal Wani is a Professor of Law and Ex-Dean at University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India with 36 years of rich teaching and research experience. He was earlier Member of the Law Commission of India from 2009-2012 and also Elected Member of the Governing Council of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, working under the stewardship of the Chief Justice of India. Being an eminent comparatist with special interest in Jurisprudence and Law and Development, his focus is on Human Rights in Peace Perspective as a main concern. His angering expressions on Legal Research Methodology, Legal Aid, Good Governance and issues related to women, children, tribes and IPRs are a popular academic bustle. He has worked with Delhi State Legal Services Authority and other legal aid providers for more than three decades. At home a resource person for FDPs and JTPs for law teachers and judges, Prof. Wani co-ordinated the Rule of Law Project of USAID, to build the capacity of legal and juristic departments of Afghanistan, including training of Law Ministry officials, Judicial officers and law professors of Afghanistan Universities as a process of reconstruction of Afghanistan. Editor of Indraprastha Technology Law Journal and Religion and Law Review, he has authored/edited 12 books and more than 200 research papers, reports, notes and book reviews; and presented papers at various academic destinations at home and abroad at Oxford, Stanford, Melbourne, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kathmandu, Kabul, Bangkok, Dhaka, Jakarta and Maldives.
